ESTO

ESTO is a creative studio that takes material exploration as a starting point for thinking about objects and spaces. Its practice sits between design and sculpture, moving freely between the functional and the expressive. They are interested in how an idea changes as it passes through the hands, how form emerges through process, and how certain gestures, sometimes minimal and sometimes intuitive, can generate character. Their work moves between the domestic and the theatrical, seeking objects that are not only used but also accompany, inhabit, and suggest new ways of looking. 

At ESTO, experimentation is part of the method. Each project is an open-ended investigation in which materials, space, and chance enter into dialogue. From this exchange emerges a distinctive language shaped by variation, subtle humor, a certain indiscipline, and an attentive, honest engagement with the physical presence of the object. Based in Madrid, the studio develops furniture, installations, and spatial projects that combine formal sensitivity with material thinking, always through a close, hands-on, and deeply curious approach.
