Gui Machado

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1984, Gui began his artistic journey painting graffiti in the streets and favelas of the city. What started as an exploration of urban space soon led to invitations to exhibit his work, opening the door to a studio practice and
development of paintings on canvas.

In 2011, Gui moved to New York City to study at the School of Visual Arts, where he continued to refine his artistic practice and expand his visual language. 

Gui’s work has since entered the Soho House collection, and he has created commissioned works for the company, including pieces featured in Vogue Magazine.
