"I’m really into the concept that when we wake up we’re in the theta state, and everything we see in that first moment imprints on the subconscious. I designed this bed inspired by mushrooms and feng shui, thinking their organic shapes could affect the subconscious and make dreams more vivid. I also read in a feng shui book that waking in an environment that feels like the womb brings peace and calm. That’s why I went with skin tones and soft, flowing shapes, to create a space that feels gentle when crossing from the dream world into waking life." - Pilar Zeta
