About the Alloy Kingdom Collection:

With this new direction, Moore applied his fascination with unique mediums to explore the provoking combination of natural materials such as cherry wood with chemically engineered metal foams. The collection invokes aesthetics from the microscopic to the astro-geological.

The collection began with Moore's obsession with metal foams - an engineered material characterized by a permeable cellular structure, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight ratios, sound absorption, and exciting optical potentials.

Noticing how the foam breathes light through its porous structure, Moore developed a clear membrane layer to catch the light in glowing pools. These otherworldly topographies are framed by cherry wood carved into organic forms which playfully interact with each other.
