FUTURE WOOD BY TIMBUR
Plywood
Timbur uses plywood as a medium for artistic expression. Ezra Ardolino has coined "future wood" as a technique that embraces the tension between digital design and physical craftsmanship. All items can be finished with surreal colorization. Timbur’s signature process of stack lamination utilizes advanced robotics and CNC manufacturing to bring these large-scale, geometric pieces to life.

Material Variations
The uniform layers of plywood provide a consistent density and strength, allowing for precise cuts and intricate designs. This stability is essential for both structural components and decorative elements.
The tight layering and consistent core of Birch plywood, finished in surreal kandy color, offers a futuristic conception of both "wood" and "grain".
About The Designer
Timbur by Ezra Ardolino
Timbur is a digital fabrication studio that explores the intersection of design, materiality, and robotics. Founded in 2009 by architect Ezra Ardolino, Timbur has developed distinctive projects for some of the world’s leading architects, designers, artists and brands. Stack and Bark are the result of Timbur’s foray into product design, pulling from deep roots in digital fabrication and robotics engineering to create unique objects that blur the line between hi-tech and handcrafted.
