These functional art pieces build a color story through multiple layers of translucent tinted resin over a mirrored glass base. Throughout the day as the light changes, their vibrant hues shift in color and tone - kaleidoscopic portals offering new perspectives each time you view them. I consider this work my signature series, and have been developing the technique for over 2 years. Inspired by a long night getting lost in the dark desert and finding myself in the gentle morning light - forever accompanied by my shadow dancing alongside me. This is an ode to the connection within. Due to the nature of the piece, it reflects your shadow - a gentle daily reminder to continue to nurture your relationship with yourself.
