The Cambium Table Lamp is one of the pieces designed for the Dye Dye My Darling collection — a series of unique, mono-material works emerging from LoopLoop’s latest material research. Each piece is crafted from plant-dyed anodized aluminium, showcasing delicate colours and patterns developed through experimental techniques. This table lamp features a hand-made, plant-based pattern the artists have named Alkanet Dream — a marble-like effect first developed using the skins of allium cepa (red onion), then deepened with a final immersion in a bath of alkanet root dye — lending the surface its nuanced, purplish hue and layered complexity.
